More Dutch consumers have tablets than PCs

More Dutch consumers own tablets than PCs, according to the latest data from GfK. In total, 65 percent of consumers 13 or older own a tablet, compared to 60 percent with PCs. Over 10 million, or 80 percent of people 13 and over, have smartphones, and this rises to 96 percent of young people. While PC penetration is stable, the share of people with tablets and smartphones is growing by a few percent each year. For tablets, penetration rose from 61 percent in December last year to 65 percent in June this year. Over the same period smartphone penetration increased from 76 to 80 percent. GfK also
