Moroccan mobile operators to enforce opt-out obligation for SMS marketing

Moroccan regulator ANRT announced that it has made progress on improving customer protection from unsolicited SMS marketing in cooperation with national data protection authority CNDP. Following a commitment from the country's three mobile operators, consumers will soon be able to benefit from information on how to opt out of receiving future SMS communication.
