Moscow metro starts facial recognition payment system

Moscow metro has launched a system to take fare payments via facial recognition at over 240 stations across the Russian capital, according to Engaget, citing The Guardian. Passengers can now pay for their trip by looking at a camera. The Moscow metro has launched what authorities say is the first mass-scale deployment of a facial recognition payment system.
