Most Irish have downloaded covid-19 tracker app, broadband usage jumps 40% during crisis - study

Well over half (60%) of people polled in Ireland say they have already downloaded the government's recently launched covid-19 tracker app, with another 22 percent saying they plan to download it, according to a study conducted in July by Amarach Research for Virgin Media Ireland. About 67 percent said they would use get vaccinated, if and when a vaccine became available. The research also showed people relying heavily on broadband to support their physical and mental health during lockdowns associated with the virus pandemic.
