Motorola, Samsung, Xiaomi lead Mexico smartphone market

Motorola and Samsung continued to the dominate smartphone sector in Mexico in the second quarter of 2021, accounting for over 4 in 10 of the devices sold in the country, according to data from the Competitive Intelligence Unit (CIU). Motorola ended the April to June period with 21.3 percent of sales, just ahead of Samsung with 20.5 percent, followed by Xiaomi in third place with 12.9 percent.
