Motorola Solutions acquires Airbus DS Communications

Motorola Solutions announced it executed a definitive agreement with Airbus SE under which the company will acquire Plant Holdings, which holds the Airbus DS Communications business. Motorola Solutions said this acquisition will strengthen its software portfolio, enabling expansion into new segments in US emergency response products. It will create a full suite of 911 products, including call routing, call taking, records management and dispatch, for agencies of all sizes across segments.
