Motorola Solutions to acquire Avigilon

Motorola Solutions entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Avigilon, a Canada-based specialist in video surveillance and analytics, in an all-cash transaction that will enhance Motorola Solutions' portfolio of mission-critical communications technologies. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory, shareholder and court approvals.
