Motorola to sell first 4G mobile phone in Brazil
Motorola's new Razr HD smartphone will arrive in Brazil during the fourth quarter, the handset maker confirmed. This will be the first 4G device sold in the country. Manufactured in Brazil, the Razr HD will come with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and should be updated to version 4.1 (Jelly Bean) still this year, according to the company. It will be launched by Claro for BRL 1,999 on prepaid and BRL 999 with the Unlimited 400 plan.

Claro starts sales of Motorola Razr HD in Sao Paulo

Claro Brasil started sales of the Motorola Razr HD, the first smartphone on the Brazilian market compatible with its LTE network, on 22 September in Sao Paulo. The device is available for BRL 999 on the Unlimited 400 Plan, which costs BRL 269.71 per month and includes 400 minutes of local calls, unlimited SMS, unlimited local and long-distance calls to Claro numbers and 500 MB data. The Motorola Razr HD is based on a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, together with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory.

Claro starts LTE trial in Joquei Clube area of Sao Paulo

Claro has launched LTE network tests in the Joquei Clube area of Sao Paulo. Claro has previously rolled out LTE network trials in the Brasilia capital, Campos do Jordao (Sao Paulo), Paraty and Buzios (Rio de Janeiro). Claro to launch Motorola Razr HD in Brazil

Mobile operator Claro will be the first to market Motorola's new Razr HD smartphone in Brazil. The handset should arrive in shops during September, making it the first LTE phone to reach the market. Motorola to launch Razr HD LTE in Canada

Motorola Mobility Canada announced the Motorola Razr HD LTE smartphone, coming exclusively to Rogers Communications' LTE network. The Razr HD LTE is powered by Android 4.0 and features a 4.7-inch HD display encased in materials like Corning Gorilla Glass display and DuPont Kevlar fibre. Claro Brasil achives peaks of 80 Mbps in LTE tests

Claro Brasil announced the first results of tests of LTE technology in the cities of Campos do Jordao (Sao Paulo), Paraty and Buzios (Rio de Janeiro). Claro launches LTE pilot in three Brazilian cities

Claro Brazil has launched a LTE network trial in three Brazilian cities, Campos do Jordao (state of Sao Paulo), Buzios and Parati (state of Rio de Janeiro).
