Motorola unveils Intel-powered Razr i smartphone

Motorola has unveiled the new Razr i smartphone running an Intel processor. The phone features a 4.3-inch Super Amoled screen covering nearly the full surface of the phone and includes what the company claims is the first smartphone running a 2.0 GHz processor, from Intel's Atom range. Other features include Android 4.0 (upgradeable to 4.1), an 8 megapixel camera with multi-shot mode, NFC and Corning and Kevlar materials for durability. The Razr i also comes with Motorola's Smartactions app to help extend the battery life and the Guide Me app with tutorials on how to use the handset's features. The phone will be available in black beginning in October in select European and Latin American markets, including the UK, France, Germany, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. A white version will also be coming to select markets.
