Movistar begins offering "premium" ADSL router for free

Thursday 4 December 2014 | 09:48 CET | News
Movistar (Telefonica) has changed its hardware policy and begun offering its "premium" multi-port router for free to all ADSL customers in Spain. Since the start of the month all customers with a multi-port router will no longer be charged a monthly rental fee of EUR 9.90 for the hardware. Previously, the operator only provided single-port routers for free, but those devices will now be phased out, to be replaced by the so-called "premium" routers.
