Movistar Costa Rica introduces zero-rated WhatsApp offer

Friday 16 February 2018 | 11:48 CET | News
Movistar Costa Rica (Telefonica) has launched an offer whereby prepay customers topping up at least CRC 2,000 (USD 3.5) will have zero-rated access to WhatsApp for 10 days. The offer was announced by the company's communications manager Karla Espinosa in an interview with El Financiero and follows a similar offer launched last year giving users who top up a minimum of CRC 2,000 double the amount of credit to access social network platforms, browse the internet, make calls or send text messages.
