Movistar TV launches self-installing kit to meet demand

Telefonica has launched a self-installing Movistar TV kit to enable the operator to meet consumer demand for its pay-TV service. Although, under normal circumstances, Movistar TV is set up by a Telefonica technician, the demand for the service has been such that the operator has had to change its strategy and offer customers the option to self-install the equipment rather than wait up to one month. Telefonica recently reached the milestone of 1 million Movistar TV customers after acquiring the rights to numerous international sporting events and taking the decision to bundle Movistar TV
