Movistar, Vodafone lead Spain 4G speeds - study

Movistar (Telefonica) and Vodafone have the fastest 4G networks in Spain, according to the latest mobile internet update from Open Signal corresponding to the fourth quarter of 2015. The survey, which measures mobile coverage based on a mobile user app, revealed that both Vodafone and Movistar registered an average download speed of 25 Mbps, followed by Orange with 18 Mbps and Yoigo with 15 Mbps. However, in terms of coverage Orange continued to lead the 4G ranking with 66 percent of the Spanish territory covered (up from 59 percent in the previous quarter), followed by Vodafone with 61
