Mozambique's mCel and TDM complete merger

Mozambique's state-owned telecoms operators Telecomunicacoes de Mocambique (TDM) and mCel have completed their merger and created Mozambique Telecom, or simply Tmcel, O Pais reported. Their merger was decided by the Council of Ministers in the second half of 2016 to rescue them from the verge of bankruptcy through lack of sustainability and high debts.
