Mozilla announces plans to cut 250 jobs

Mozilla announced plans to cut 250 jobs from the company. CEO Mitchell Baker said the company already planned significant changes prior to the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent economic slowdown and impact on revenue had made it necessary to revise the plans. The announcement to staff also included an outline of priorities going forward for the company, including a more outward looking mindset for internet development and focus on technology and community.
