Mozilla opens Paris office

Non-profit open source code sofware company Mozilla has opened an office in central Paris, in an 18th townhouse built for Rossini and once housing the Austrian Embassy. Mozzilla's head of operations in France, Tristan Nitot, hosted the event attended by the Mozilla foundation's president Mitchell Baker and French digital economy minister Fleur Pellerin. The company that brought us the Firefox operating system, set to be used in smartphones this Christmas, has picked a location close to Paris's Silicon Sentier technology hub.
