Mozilla slates Windows 10 browser defaults

Mozilla, maker of the Firefox browser, has strongly criticised Microsoft's decision to make its new Edge programme the default browser in the Windows 10 operating system, even when users update from an OS that had Firefox or Chrome as its default. In an open letter to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Mozilla CEO Chris Beard describes Microsoft's actions as an "aggressive move to override user choice" and goes on to accuse Microsoft of ignoring Mozilla's calls to keep the default browser during the upgrade process.
