MPEG LA wins AVC infringement ruling against Huawei, ZTE

MPEG LA has won a patent infringement suit in Germany against Huawei and ZTE. The licensing group said the District Court in Duesseldorf found that mobile phones from the Chinese companies infringed patents held by two companies included in the AVC licence portfolio. The court also found that the license offered by the patent holders meets fair, reasonable and nondiscriminatory terms.
