Mtel demonstrates 5G technology for first time in Bulgaria

Mtel said it demonstrated 5G technology for the first time in Bulgaria. The demonstration was held during a special event that included a high-speed test of 5G and a VR demonstration. During the demonstration, a speed above 2 Gbps was measured, which is more than 10 times higher than that at 4G/LTE. The VR experiment introduced streaming content with4K resolution without any delay. A low lag of about 1 millisecond was recorded in the 5G network.
