MTN CEO Shuter says confident Nigerian dispute will be resolved

MTN is confident that its dispute with the Nigerian government will be resolved, Reuters reported, citing group CEO Rob Shuter. On 30 August, the Central Bank of Nigeria ordered MTN Nigeria to hand over USD 8.1 billion that it said was illegally sent abroad, and earlier this month, the government sent MTN a separate USD 2 billion tax bill.
