MTN Ghana grows EBIDTA 50% in H1

Monday 5 August 2019 | 15:09 CET | News
MTN Ghana's EBITDA increased by 50.3 percent to GHS 1.20 billion in the six months to 30 June. The EBITDA margin increased by 10.4 percentage points to 49.5 percent, MTN said in its unaudited financial results. This was supported by savings in dealer commissions arising from an increase in electronic airtime sales and lower interconnect costs. Capex for the period was GHS 803 million, and subscribers increased by 6.2 percent to 21.3 million as at 30 June.
