MTN Ghana revenue rises 22% in Q1, subscribers up 2%

MTN Ghana said its revenue increased by 21.9 percent to GHS 1.75 billion in the first quarter ended 31 March compared with GHS 1.44 billion in the same period of 2020. EBITDA increased by 24.6 percent to GHS 957 million from GHS 768 million and the EBITDA margin rose by 1.2 percentage points to 54.6 percent from 53.4 percent. Subscribers increased by 2.4 percent to 25.0 million.
