MTN Nigeria pays half its SIM registration fine

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) said MTN Nigeria has so far paid NGN 165 billion of the NGN 330 billion fine imposed it for failing to disconnect unregistered SIM cards, reports the Daily Trust.  NCC Executive Vice Chairman Umar Garba Danbatta said MTN made its latest payment of NGN 55 billion in March.
