MTN Nigeria raises NGN 74 bln from 2 new series of commercial paper

MTN Nigeria said it has raised NGN 73.5 billion after it successfully completed Series III and IV Commercial Paper Issuances on 19 March under its NGN 200 billion Commercial Paper (CP) programme. MTN said the Series III CP cleared at a discount rate of 6.76 percent and raised NGN 19.76 billion and the Series IV cleared at a discount rate of 7.55 percent and raised NGN 53.74 billion. The proceeds will go towards working capital and general corporate purposes.
