MTN Nigeria revenue rises 23% in Q3, mobile subscribers down 10%

MTN Nigeria has announced that its revenue increased by 22.9 percent to NGN 414.99 million in the three months to 30 September from NGN 337.69 million in the same period of 2020. EBITDA increased by 27.2 percent to NGN 217.29 million from NGN 170.80 million in 2020, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 52.4 percent from 50.6 percent in 2020. Capital expenditure rose by 24 percent to NGN 74.62 million compared with NGN 60.61 million in 2020. The number of mobile phone subscribers decreased by 10 percent to 67.5 million from 75.0 million in 2020.
