MTN Rwanda mobile money breakdown on 01 August disrupts business, service delivery

MTN Rwanda services including mobile money, YOLO and the purchase of internet and voice bundles were down for a couple of hours on 01 August, The New Times reported. Chantal Kagame, CEO at MTN's subsidiary Mobile Money Rwanda Limited, said that there was a problem in the system that caused the services to go down. He said the platform was not stable, which made the network shut it down.
