MTN says seeking agreement with Nigerian officials over repatriation but reiterates share trading caution

MTN Group says it is holding talks with Nigerian officials to find a "mutually acceptable solution" to a dispute over the alleged transfer of USD 8.1 billion dollars out of the country, and that further announcement on the issue would be made in due course. MTN advised its shareholders to continue to exercise caution when dealing in its securities until another announcement is made.
