MTN to apologise for Nigerian dispute – report

MTN Group will reportedly issue an apology to the Nigerian government and people within one month of the execution of a settlement of its fine for failing to cut off unregistered SIMs, Reuters reported, citing a copy of the agreement. MTN executive for group corporate affairs Chris Maroleng told ITWeb he could neither confirm nor deny whether the mobile giant planned to apologise.
