MTN to invest over ZAR 170 mln to expand LTE coverage in Eastern Cape

MTN South Africa has announced another ZAR 170 million investment in the Eastern Cape. The MTN Network currently provides coverage to over 98 percent of the population in the province and over 87 percent of the population already has LTE coverage. The extra investment will let MTN raise its LTE footprint to almost 93 percent in the province by the end of 2021.
