MTN Zambia picks ZTE to provide optical backbone to border with Namibia

ZTE has announced an agreement with MTN Zambia to construction a cross-border optical transmission network backbone in Zambia to connect Lusaka with the border of Namibia. By providing the backbone network with a large bandwidth, ZTE aims to break the bottleneck of international egress traffic and reduce the cost per megabyte.
