MulteFire Alliance to launch at MWC, adds members

The MulteFire Alliance industry consortium has announced that it will be hosting a launch event on 23 February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to showcase specification development and growing momentum surrounding the LTE-based MulteFire technology for small cells operating solely in unlicensed spectrum. The consortium also announced that Athonet, Baicells, Boingo Wireless, Casa Systems, Ruckus Wireless and SpiderCloud Wireless have joined board-level members Ericsson, Intel, Nokia and Qualcomm in the Alliance.
