Multisource to acquire iBurst owner WBS - report

South Africa's Multisource has reportedly succeeded in its bid to acquire iBurst parent company Wireless Business Solutions (WBS), Techcentral reported citing a source close to the talks. According to the report, the deal is pending regulatory approval. WBS has access to valuable radio spectrum that could be used to build a national wireless broadband network. Its spectrum in the 1.8GHz band could be used for a LTE network. Multisource is a specialist in digital radio network equipment and deployment and is also piloting the use of 'TV white space' spectrum. In September, MyBroadband reported
