Munich court rules against Daimler over patent infringement lawsuit with Sharp

Sharp said it has won an lawsuit for patent infringement against the German car maker Daimler. The court ruled that Daimler infringed the patent regarding LTE standard compliant car products. It also rendered an injunction and rejected Daimler's so-called FRAND (Fair, Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory) defense. The ruling includes a declaratory judgment that Daimler owes damages, according to Sharp.
