MWC staying in Barcelona until at least 2023 - GSMA CEO

The GSMA has no plans to move the Mobile World Congress from Barcelona in the medium term, reports Spanish business daily Expansion following a presentation featuring GSMA CEO John Hoffman. "We're not moving anywhere, and that includes Madrid," said Hoffman in response to recent comments from Madrid regional president Isabel Diaz Ayuso, who expressed the desire to take the MWC to the Spanish capital. "There's been no debate involving Madrid or anywhere else in the world," added the chief executive of the industry body.
