NAACP calls on Congress to further investigate intelligence report on Facebook

The NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) called for a boycott of Facebook services (FB, Instagram, WhatsApp) on 18 December, saying the company engaged with partisan companies, spread misinformation and used promoted negative portrayals of the African American community during the latest US presidential campaign. The NAACP also called on Congress to conduct further investigations in to the matter.
