NCC reserves 26 GHz, 38 GHz and 42 GHz frequencies for 5G licensing

The Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) says the country is reserving the 26 GHz, 38 GHz and 42 GHz spectrum frequencies for 5G mobile broadband licensing, The Leadership reported. NCC CEO Umar Garba Danbatta said it is waiting in anticipation for standardisation to be completed at the World Radio Communication (WRC) in Egypt and then see how to move forward with licensing in the three frequencies.
