NCC ties up with UK government to improve digital inclusion and bridge access gaps

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the UK government have agreed to collaborate on digital inclusion, cyber security and capacity building to bridge access gaps in Nigeria, reports CommunicationsWeek. NCC executive vice chairman Umar Garba Danbatta met a delegation from the UK Department of Foreign & International Development (DFID). He said there were 200 access gaps in Nigeria and the NCC was looking at different rural technology to plug them in two years, as against the 20 years projected.
