NCC to auction 5 slots for 5G network, could review SIM registration error penalty

Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is set to auction five lots of spectrum for 5G deployment. So said executive vice-chairman Umar Danbatta at a public hearing and inquiry on the draft regulations for telephone subscriber registration, SIM replacement and spectrum allocation for 2021. Adeleke Adewolu, executive commissioner for stakeholder management at NCC, said that the public hearing and inquiry would help the commission to improve the industry.
