NCC to decide on Ambit's 4G plan within the next two months

Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC) expects to reach a final decision on the request made by local telecoms operator Ambit Microsystems to acquire equipment from Chinese vendor Huawei to deploy its 4G network within the next two months, Digitimes reports. NCC has not yet given the green light to Ambit Microsytems' 4G infrastructure deployment plan, as the body has certain national security concerns about the company's intention to buy equipment from the Chinese firm. The other five 4G licensees' roll-out plans have been already approved by the NCC, as they did not include
