Ncell launches Yonder Music streaming app

Nepalese mobile operator Ncell has introduced the ‘Yonder Music’ digital music platform on the local market. App users will have access to millions of songs to download and play. Ncell prepay and postpaid customers can install the music streaming app on their smartphones and listen to music online and offline.

Yonder Music includes a library of over 20 million Nepali and international songs. Ncell customers can access this music content free of commercials and subscription fees. Standard data charges will be applicable when Ncell data is used for downloading songs. The app also includes the ‘Snap Karaoke’ feature which allows users to sing and record their own versions of their favorite songs in a video karaoke style and share up to 29 seconds of their karaoke performance with other Yonder users and on social networks.

  Customers can install the app from Google Play and Apple App Store. After registration, they will be able to download songs using Wi-Fi or the Ncell mobile data network.

Bangladeshi mobile operator Robi has launched the Airtel-Yonder Music app for Airtel subscribers. Airtel users can find tracks in this app and listen to them free of charge. No extra subscription fee will be charged to the users for using this app, Robi said. To celebrate this launch with Airtel subscribers, Robi is arranging a special musical performance of the Chirkutt band at the Food Marathon event.
