Spotify expands ticketing capabilities with AXS, Eventbrite

Monday 19 June 2017 | 05:27 CET | News

Spotify started offering access to concert and festival listings from both AXS and Eventbrite from 15 June. Fans get faster access to purchase tickets for their favourite shows as now they have direct ticket feeds from both services embedded within Spotify.

To date Spotify featured over 150,000 artists with concert dates in more than 100,000 venues. Today’s announcement expands ticketing offers to hundreds of venues around the globe including such iconic stages and events as Red Rocks Amphitheatre in the US, The O2 Arena in London and the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm from AXS; as well as Great American Music Hall, Mohawk in Austin and the Newport Jazz Festival from Eventbrite. The partnerships with AXS and Eventbrite follows recent Spotify ticketing partnership with Ticketmaster and long-standing integration with Songkick.
