Nearly 13% of Spanish homes changed mobile operator in 2017

Around 12.9 percent of Spanish households changed their mobile operator in 2017, some 1.5 percentage points more than in 2016 and nearly double the number who changed electricity provider (7.7%) and gas provider (6.9%). The latest report from communications regulator CNMC also revealed that 23.5 percent of consumers said they found it difficult or very difficult to change their fixed broadband and landline operator compared to 15.8 percent of mobile subscribers.
