Nearly 7 in 10 Portuguese households using high-speed broadband

High-speed fixed broadband services reached 2.9 million residential subscribers in Portugal at the end of the first quarter, up 9.8 percent year-on-year. That's equal to 68.7 percent of total households, and as many as 87 percent in the Lisbon area, according to data from the National Communications Authority (Anacom).
