Google's Android OS consolidated its dominance of the German smartphone market in the three months to April, accounting for nearly 8 out of every 10 handsets sold in the country according to the latest data from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech. Android's market share of 78.5 percent represents a 3.6 percent year-on-year growth and a 1.5 percent rise on the previous month's figure of 77.0 percent.
