The share of SIM-only customers in the Netherlands is on the rise. Almost half (47%) of the mobile connections in the first quarter of 2014 were SIM-only, compared to 41 percent in the first quarter of 2013. Two thirds of those are postpaid connections. These results are based on the Postpaid Mobile Insight report by Telecompaper. The distribution of prepaid and postpaid connections in the Netherlands has remained stable in Q1 2014, with three quarters of all mobile connections being postpaid.
