Nearly two-thirds of Mexican fixed broadband subs above 20 Mbps - study

The number of Mexican internet users subscribing to fixed broadband plans at speeds above 20 Mbps surged to 64.7 percent of the total at the end of 2020, up from 46.4 percent in August 2019, according to a report from regulator IFT. Around 22.3 percent of users subscribed to plans offering 10-19 Mbps, while 10.5 percent subscribe to plans with 4-9 Mbps.
