NEC creates AI tech for communication networks

NEC announced that NEC Laboratories Europe developed a new technology, Net2Vec, that brings artificial intelligence (AI) to communication networks. Net2Vec uses deep learning algorithms that allow the analysis of users' data in real-time. The company said that its platform can help operators proactively manage customer retention, protect users from threats, identify users' needs and respond with different tariff plans, and monetise network data via advertising.
