Nederlandse Energie Maatschappij enters Dutch telecom market

Tuesday 5 April 2016 | 10:38 CET | News
The Nederlandse Energie Maatschappij (NLE) announced that it plans to offer internet and TV services on the Dutch market. NLE said it plans to "shake up" the Dutch market with all-in-one packages that challenge existing operators on price, speed and service. NLE's aim is to take 10 percent of the multi-play market within five years. In the energy market, the company said it's built a 7 percent market share in ten years, with almost 800,000 connections. The company will run a single platform and app for all its energy and telecom services and use the KPN network to deliver the telecom offers.
