NENT acquires Swiss skiing rights as addition to FIS package

Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT) said it has acquired exclusive winter sports broadcasting rights in a deal brokered by Infront, Swiss-Ski's international media rights partner for all FIS events in Switzerland. From autumn 2021, Viaplay will stream more than 500 hours of live skiing every season. Then, in a four-year agreement from autumn 2022, NENT will air 25 World Cup events each season in alpine skiing, cross-country, ski jumping, freestyle skiing and snowboarding, in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
