Netcom says 31% of Norwegians watch TV on smartphone

TeliaSonera's Norwegian arm Netcom said the increasing number of people watching television on mobile devices is driving demand for subscriptions that include a generous amount of mobile internet allowance. According to a Netcom Trends survey, 71 percent of people still watch TV during actual broadcasts, on a traditional television set. It found that 36 percent of respondents watch recorded programmes on a traditional TV, 52 percent watch on a computer via podcast or streaming, 43 percent watch on a tablet, 31 percent view on a smartphone and 6 percent watch telly by other means.
